Although some of the concepts are borrowed, all of these projects were created by Drew in photoshop, some utilizing elements first constructed within illustrator then transfered back to photoshop for final assembly. Many of these projects took countless hours to produce and required a sophisticated knowledge of said software to complete. In addition to these stylized projects, Drew also can retouch old worn but treasured photographs to their original state. If you need such services, please don't  hesitate to contact him

Editorial Imagery

Photography and Design by Drew Cunningham

Having traveled through close to fifty countries to date, Drew has had an unparalleled opportunity to capture unique images in far off lands. Many of the images featured above were taken in Japan, Cuba, Thailand and Nepal, with a few even taken here at home in Toronto. The images from Japan appeared in a feature article for Canadian airlines for which Drew was nominated for a Canadian National Magazine Award in the best photojournalism category. Though he did not win, he was awarded honorable mention in this contest. The images went on to be published in several newspapers and periodicals. For consistency Drew has kept this page entirely B&W imagery. He plans to feature his color travel imagery at a later date.

Drew has designed everything from coffee table books to the website you see here. He has also designed cd covers, corporate brochures, magazine ads and even giant billboards. Much of Drew's graphic design is heavily reliant on the use of photography.. Generally, Drew will be hired by a client who needs both product photography and a design piece to go with it. Drew can accomplish both ot those tasks for you.

He would be more than happy to explain why he would be the right choice for your next project!

Graphic Design

Photography and Design by Drew Cunningham

This is just a sample of some of Drew's portrait, lifestyle, wedding and fashion photography. While some of these shots were taken with daylight as the only illumination , the majority were taken with strobe flash lighting in a studio or controlled outdoor environment.

Most of these images were made over the course of the past 8 years since closing my studio in Toronto. Many of them can be found in a book myself and Tom Jaques published recently on deck design. Our initial run of five thousand copies is almost completely sold out, however, should you be interested in a copy please let me know as we are considering another printing due to its' popularity. Unfortunately it is currently only available through an American book retailer, or special order through myself or Tom.
